Records of the Kansas Board of Education, 1877 - [ongoing].

The majority of the records available from the Kansas Board of Education are the Board's regular meeting minutes and materials related to what was discussed at their meetings. Due to the sensitive, confidential nature of some of these materials, this series may fall under restrictions in Kansas statutes. These records are also somewhat spotty, with the late nineteenth/early twentieth centuries and late twentieth century best represented. Other materials from the Board or its affiliates include the records of the Professional Standards Board, subject files from the late 1970s-early 1980s regarding the Schools for the Deaf and for the Visually Handicapped, and portraits of many of the Superintendents of Public Instruction.

Circa 75 cubic feet.
